What do you love about being a mentor?

Natalia's favorite quote that she follows and preaches frequently is "this too shall pass." She believes that every hardship that individual experience is apart of life's many challenges and will pass after you have learned from it in some way, shape or form. She feels that we all experience hardships but the most important thing is that we grow, learn and build from them. As a mentor, she loves to teach her mentees both children and adolescents that any and everything that they go through will not last forever and that there will always be a rainbow at the end of the tunnel.

“Be the person you needed when you were younger.”

-Getting a master in Social Work and Entertainment Management.

-Interests include dancing, creative writing, songwriting, poetry, boxing, stage combat, nutrition, fitness, cooking, humanities, and learning new languages.

- I love kids more than anything. I’ve been volunteering with kids since I was 15 years old. I’ve been a part of different organizations that focused on helping kids of all ages. I’ve been a teacher as well as a nanny. I’ve also been a caregiver for the elderly as well as special needs children and adults.

- Why I love my job is because I get to be that person I needed when I was younger. To me, my job isn’t a job. My job is a commitment to change the lives of children. My job means being that positive role model to a child. Being that beam of sunshine to a child means so much. I love making them laugh and making them feel worthy. Each child should feel worthy.
